Dr. Chintan Thakore is a pediatric dentist at Union Pediatric Dentistry, providing compassionate, prevention-focused dental care for children in Union, KY and surrounding communities.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Chintan Thakore grew up in a dental family and was inspired at a young age by his mother, who is a dentist. Watching the positive impact she had on her patients sparked his early interest in dentistry and confirmed early on that he wanted to follow in her footsteps.
Dr. Thakore graduated magna cum laude from his undergraduate program while completing an accelerated 7-year combined undergraduate and dental program at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). During dental school, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society in recognition of his academic excellence and commitment to the profession.
He then completed his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, one of the nation's leading children's hospitals. During residency, he received advanced training in caring for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs. His experience emphasized behavior guidance, prevention-focused care, and creating positive dental experiences that help children feel comfortable and confident.
Dr. Thakore is currently on the path toward board certification through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is passionate about building trust with both children and parents, knowing that early positive experiences can shape a lifetime of healthy habits. He strives to make each visit educational, stress-free, and even fun.
Outside of the office, Dr. Thakore enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, trying new restaurants, and continuing to explore Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. He never says no to a scoop (or two) of raspberry chocolate chip ice cream from Graeter's and looks forward to becoming a trusted part of your family's dental care journey.
